Police investigating after body found in Lincoln

Police are looking into an unexpected death after a body was found yesterday afternoon.

They received a report of a concern for safety near the Waterside South in Lincoln just before 1pm on Thursday (May 29).

“Officers attended and discovered the body of a man past the railway bridge,” a Lincolnshire Police statement said.

“At this early stages of the investigation, we are treating his death as unexpected.

“There will be officers in the area for some time. We will release updates when we’re able to do so.”
