Police name victim in Lincoln murder investigation

Police investigating a suspected murder have named the man who has died.

Eddie Roberts, 55, died following an incident in Lincoln on Sunday, December 8.

A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

“His family are aware, and they are being supported by specially trained officers,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.

“We ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult time. They do not wish to talk to media.

“We continue to appeal for information and witnesses to aid our investigation.”
