Lincolnshire Makers set to host first Marvellous Makers Market in Lincoln, after receiving ‘great’ demand
A popular market is set to host its biggest event yet, after receiving ‘great’ demand.
Organisers of Lincolnshire Makers will host a Marvellous Makers Market event at the Exo Centre, at Lincolnshire Showground in Lincoln, on Saturday, September 7 between 10am and 4pm.
The event will welcome more than 100 different curated makers, offering a wide range of food and drink, produce, creative designs, artists, designer items and lots more.
Visitors can also enjoy workshops which will run throughout the day, including a free pom pom class with Prikli Pear – teaching attendees how to create a keyring.
There will also be bookable workshops with ceramicist Iddy Biddy Tiddy Commiddy, to create a pumpkin and also a chance to make a zipped pouch with Sew Mini Memories.
If you start the feel peckish – fear not, as some of the street food caters on site cooking up a storm will include grilled burgers and chicken from Gourmazin, loaded fries from Oh La La Street Food, British hall-ewe-me wraps from Blue Sky Cheese, loaded macaroni cheese from Mac Daddy’s Mac Shack, milkshakes from Eskimoo, coffee from Jackalope Joe Coffee Co, Asian food from Bad Boy Bao and many more.
A complimentary colouring corner, outdoor musicians and lawn games can also keep you occupied.
It costs £2 to attend and under 16s, carers and NUS card holders can attend for free – all payable at the door.
