Two arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in North Hykeham released with ‘no further action’ taken - police
Two people arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have been released.
A 36-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were arrested after a fire at a property in North Hykeham.
Police say ‘no further action’ is being taken.
Officers were called to an address on Lincoln Road at around 11am on Saturday (June 22) after reports of a blaze.
A woman in her 60s has sustained serious injuries and has been taken to Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment.
The man and woman were subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and were taken into police custody.
The scene has been secured and investigations are ongoing.
“We are appealing for any information and asking anyone who thinks they can help us to contact the force quoting incident number 147 of 22/06/24,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.
