Lincolnshire Police reveal that a 67-year-old woman has died after crash on Lincoln’s A15 eastern bypass




A 67-year-old woman has died after a serious crash on the A15 outside Lincoln.

Police were called out to an incident between Wragby Road and Greetwell Road on the city’s eastern bypass just before 4.45pm yesterday (Monday April 22).

Officers say the incident involved a silver Kia Ceed, which was travelling southbound towards Greetwell Road, and a Black Range Rover travelling northbound towards Wragby Road.

A force spokesman said: “The driver of the Kia Creed, a 67-year-old woman died after being taken to hospital. Her family have been informed and will be supported by specially trained officers.”

The driver of the Range Rover was not said to have been seriously injured.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision - or who has video footage of the collision or vehicles involved - to get in touch.
