Police are appealing for information after three sheep were killed in a suspected livestock theft earlier this month.
Between February 12 and 14, the animals were attacked in a field off the A1104 East Street near Alford.
One was skinned, while the others were left behind.
Lincolnshire Police’s Rural Crime Action Team officers said: “It is likely the offenders were disturbed in the act.”
They urge anyone who saw or suspects illegal meat sales to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting crime reference 25000091044.
