Tolethorpe Youth Drama, based near Stamford, set to hold auditions for 2024 production at Rutland Open Air Theatre
Young performers are being invited to try out for a part in a major production later this year.
Tolethorpe Youth Drama will hold auditions for its Theatre Makers programme on Monday, March 18, from 6pm, aimed at performers aged 16 to 22.

They will get the chance to train with the acclaimed group and perform in a major production at the 600-seater Rutland Open Air Theatre at Tolethorpe Hall this summer.
This year’s production will be of A Monster Calls, a tale of love, life and healing from the novel by Patrick Ness, and will run from Monday, July 29 to Wednesday, July 31.
Weekly Monday night rehearsals take place from April 15 to July 1 from 7pm to 9pm before a two-week intensive daily rehearsal period from Monday, July 15 before the performances begin.
It costs £150 to take part in the four-month period.
The Theatre Makers has become an annual project within Tolethorpe Youth Drama which was set up in 2001 by Carol King and began its 22nd year last September.
As well as its weekly classes held from September onwards, TYD also hosts specialist workshops and holiday workshops.
