Pepper’s, which is based in Oakham High Street, supports adults in Rutland who want to combat isolation, improve their mental health or feel listened to.

Activities include tai chi, meditation, crafts and gardening as well as regular social drop-in sessions.

Pippa Gorman of Pepper’s said: “None of this would be possible without support from locals, both in the form of volunteering and in donations.

“We are so grateful to the Vale of Catmos Lodge Freemasons of Oakham for supporting us with this generous donation.

“We will be putting it to good use as we look to expand our services this year."
