Motorcyclist killed in crash on the A606 at Langham




A motorcyclist died at the scene of a crash yesterday morning (Sunday).

The man in his 50s was riding a Piaggio PX along the A606 at Langham when he was involved in a crash with a black Nissan Terrano.

His pillion passenger, a woman in her 50s, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. Her injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

The car driver, a man in his 80s, was not injured.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or saw either vehicle beforehand to get in touch. The motorbike was heading north and the car was travelling south when the accident happened at about 10am.
