Leicestershire Police arrest man and woman from Oakham on suspicion of burglary in neighbouring county

Police have seized a dog as evidence in a burglary investigation.

Leicestershire Police officers arrested a man and woman on Thursday (March 20) from a property in Oakham on suspicion of burglary that happened in a neighbouring county.

While at the address, officers from Melton and Rutland recovered evidence, which included a dog.

Officers also arrested the man for possession with intent to supply class A controlled jobs after a quantity of drugs was seized from him.
