Welland Valley Legal relocates to become the only solicitors firm in Uppingham

A legal team has relocated from its farmyard premises to become a town’s only firm of solicitors.

Welland Valley Legal has opened in Uppingham following three years at a rural location in Blaston near Market Harborough.

Natalie Biggin launched the business in 2022 and was joined by Christian Jenkins a year later. They became finalists in the Leicestershire Law Society Awards for the small law firm category last year.

The pair had always set their sights on moving into the town to become part of the community.

They spent nine months renovating the Grade II listed building in Orange Street ahead of the move.

Christian said: “It has always been our intention and desire to have an office in Uppingham and to lay our roots within the Rutland community so we are grateful to have now achieved this.”

The firm also employs a trainee solicitor and legal assistant. They specialise in wills, trusts, probate and powers of attorney.

Clients can visit the new office in person or the team operate home visits and online meetings. An offer is available throughout June for new clients to celebrate the move.
