Midlands-based Savvi Travel, with agency in High Street, Oakham, named Best Travel Business in central England at awards in Bucharest




A travel agency has been named the best in the region at a prestigious ceremony.

Savvi Travel was established in 2012 by husband and wife team, Dave and Kay Batley, who now run four sites across the Midlands, including one in High Street, Oakham.

On Monday (June 16), the pair’s company was crowned ‘Best Travel Business’ in central England at the Travel Network Group Awards, in Bucharest, Romania.

The esteemed accolade celebrates excellence in customer service, innovation and business growth.

The husband and wife were presented with the award in front of more than 400 industry peers, which they described as a ‘pinch me moment’.

Dave said: “To be recognised among so many outstanding businesses is an incredible honour.

Kay said the award is a tribute to their clients, who, for more than a decade, have entrusted them with their travel plans.

“Our clients are the reason we do what we do,” she added.

“We’re beyond grateful and more motivated than ever to keep delivering unforgettable journeys.”
