Ketton Panthers impress in the East Midlands triathlon series
The East Midlands triathlon series continued apace this week with Ketton Panthers travelling to Derby for round three of the series.
Twenty Panthers represented the club and secured an impressive 16 top 10 finishes, including five podiums and two victories, across all age categories.
It was another strong event for members of the senior squad with Phoebe Goodale finishing third in the youth category.
Ben Alliston won the TS3 open category with top 10 finishes for Aubrey Elmer and Jasper Neal.
In TriStar 3, Sophie Alliston secured a third consecutive podium with Edith Kaberry finishing sixth in the female category.
In TriStar 2, Benjamin Goddard was fifth in the open category and Eleni Williams was ninth female.
There were top ten finishes in TriStar 1 for Panthers Henry Raitt, Daniel Goddard and Louis Thompson in the open category.
Gracie Dawson, Edith Saker and Lily Raitt raced to achieve top 10 finishes in the female category.
For the third consecutive race this season, Ophelia Goodale was victorious while, in the TriStart category, Sofia Williams secured a podium finish for the second time.
Racing in the series takes a break before round four at Mallory Park in July, however, weekly training continues at Ketton Sports and Social Club on Friday evenings.
