Ketton Sports are seeking more volunteers to help with their girls’ section
Ketton Sports are on a mission to expand its girls' football programme to match the success of its boys' teams - but need more help to make it happen.
The club's Under 11s team, led by Tim Laws, has demonstrated just how much demand there is for girls' football in Ketton.
With new players joining the squad nearly every week, it's clear there's a growing appetite for more opportunities for girls to get involved.
Previously, girls could only participate by joining boys' teams, but the success of the Under 11s highlights how valuable dedicated teams are for their development and enjoyment.
To meet this increasing interest, the club is looking for dedicated volunteers to help set up and manage new girls' teams.
Volunteers will need to take the lead in organising training, managing matches and recruiting players with support from the club and qualified coaches.
Ketton Sports are also working hard to secure funding for an all-weather pitch at Pit Lane.
This state-of-the-art facility will provide much-needed year-round training and matchday opportunities for all teams, ensuring the club continues to grow and succeed.
Any support—whether through fundraising ideas, donations, or event planning—will be invaluable in making this vision a reality.
