Couple charged over Chapel St Leonards campsite burglary

A couple being hunted by Lincolnshire Police last week have been arrested and charged with a campsite burglary.

Dee Elliott, 26, and 34-year-old Liam Matthews, both of Day Close in Keadby just outside Scunthorpe, appeared before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (September 13) accused of ‘burglary other than a dwelling – theft'.

The burglary took place at a caravan park in Chapel St Leonards near Skegness in the early hours of Tuesday, September 9.

The pair – who called a poster a ‘super grass’ on Lincolnshire Police’s Facebook appeal after saying they’d been spotted in Ingoldmells - have been bailed and will face Boston Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
