Man charged with drug dealing at Skegness Butlins
A man has been charged with drug supply offences after security staff at a Lincolnshire holiday camp called police on Sunday (September 7).
Joe Mulholland, 29, is charged with possession with intent to supply class B and class C drugs, identified as ketamine and nitrous oxide.
He was arrested alongside seven others at the Butlins Skegness Resort in Ingoldmells, following the discovery by workers of ‘white substances’, scales, drugs paraphernalia and cash.
Aside from Mulholland, who lives in Preston, a 28-year-old and two 27-year-olds from Preston were given conditional cautions, while four other men from Preston and Chorley were released without charge after questioning.
Detective Inspector Kara Nicholson of Skegness CID said: "When visiting Lincolnshire the strong message is - don’t bring your drugs into our county, because we will seek you out, arrest and deal with you robustly.
“This insidious activity is not welcome and will not be tolerated here."
Mulholland will face Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 18.
