60 new jobs at Spalding meat company

Spalding meat processor Dalehead Foods is taking on 60 new staff members.

The Fulney Lane company, which has been in the town for 70 years, is looking for a combination of 60 skilled and unskilled workers to join its team, from this month.

The site currently employs more than 550 staff and is increasing the size of its team in order to support its ongoing expansion.

Skilled vacancies include those with knife skills and there are also a number of unskilled roles, with successful applicants being offered a full programme of training. Dalehead is also looking to appoint a training manager.

Dalehead HR manager Victoria Herd said: “Our latest recruitment drive forms part of our long-term expansion plans for our Spalding site.”
