Stretch of A16 was blocked after four-vehicle crash between Crowland and Peterborough

A section of the A16 was blocked after a four-vehicle crash yesterday (November 2).

Police were called to an incident between Crowland and Peterborough at about 2.30pm at the roundabout at Newborough.

Officers say that there were no serious injuries reported — and no arrests were made.

The road was blocked while recovery of vehicles took place.

The circumstances of this collision are not fully known — but there have been repeated calls to improve safety on this key route.
