AbbeyPrint of Pinchbeck takes over Spalding company The Office Shop after owners retire

The couple behind a popular stationery supplier have decided to retire after 20 years serving Spalding and the surrounding area.

Phil and Lesley Pell, owners of The Office Shop in Pinchbeck Road, have sold the company to AbbeyPrint and the business will continue from their site in Enterprise Way, Pinchbeck, as part of an already well-established office products supplies side of the business.

Phil said: “I started working at the Office Shop with the previous owner (Lesley’s uncle) Colin Hayes, before taking over 20 years ago upon his retirement.

"My wife Lesley then joined me a year later in running the business. Although we are looking forward to our retirement and the adventures that it will bring, it was not an easy decision to make.

"It has been a pleasure to supply both to businesses and the public in Spalding and surrounding areas, and over the years many of our customers have become more like friends.

"We would like to thank all our customers, past and present, for their support over the years and for the many good wishes we have received from them since the announcement of our retirement.

"It has, however, made our decision easier knowing our customers will continue to be well looked after by the team at AbbeyPrint and we would like to wish them every success for the future.”
