Long Sutton park to host Positive Futures day for half-term break

A community sports and information event for young people in the Long Sutton area is taking place next week.

Positive Futures Lincolnshire, a project that uses sport and physical activity to help young people engage with their community, will be at Winfrey Park, off Bull Lane, on Monday, October 26, from 10am until 3pm.

Football activities will be held throughout the day at an event supported by Lincolnshire Police and mental health charity WeAreWithYou.

Matt Ingram, of Future4Me (part of Lincolnshire Children's Services) said: "Positive Futures will be at Winfrey Park on Monday to get out and meet the community.

"We will have football activities throughout the day for young people and will be hoping to engage in positive conversations that will help us shape youth provision across South Holland in the coming year.

"We recognise the last year has seen some very challenging conditions for traditional youth provision so come and help us shape the future."
