Man charged after alleged assault on police officer in Spalding

A man has been charged after allegedly assaulting a police officer in Spalding.

The defendant has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker, being drunk and disorderly and obstructing/resisting a police officer, after the incident on Sunday (March 7).

The officer was back at work yesterday and being supported by their team.
