‘Amazing day’ at Deeping St Nicholas Village Fete

Partygoers enjoyed an ‘amazing day’ at a village event.

Live music, food and drink, stalls and even a karate demonstration were among the attractions at the Deeping St Nicholas Village Fete on Saturday.

“It was an absolutely amazing day,” said Rob Jarvis, chairman of the Good Neighbour Scheme, which organised the event.

“It was absolutely rammed. A really, really good day.”

It is estimated around 800-1,000 visitors played their part in a memorable day, which raised approximately £800 for the Good Neighbour Scheme.

The group have recently added two new Chatter Natter benches to St Nicholas Park, which encourage residents to take a seat and make conversation with fellow villagers.
