Anglian Water say West Pinchbeck junction will reopen tomorrow

A water company hopes that a village junction will reopen shortly.

The Northgate and Cross Lane junction in West Pinchbeck has been closed for nearly a week while Anglian Water repairs a burst water main.

This is the second time in the last five months that a main in the area needed to be repaired.

A spokesman for the water company said: “I’d like to confirm that the road is due to be reopened by tomorrow (Thursday, November 28).”

The closure of this road has created numerous problems for motorists in the area - as the top of Northgate, close to The Ship, has been closed while Cadent replace a gas main.

Police was forced to close parts of Glenside North last night after two vehicles were involved in a collision.
