Billingborough cash machine raid - JCB vehicle used in crime
Thieves have carried out a raid on an ATM machine outside a store in Billingborough today (Wednesday).
It happened at the Co-op store in High Street at about 4am.
A JCB digger, stolen overnight from Horbling, was used to ram the shop before the cash machine's "cassette" was then stolen.
But after loading the cassette into a car, police confirmed that it fell from the vehicle as the thieves left the scene, leaving the evidence behind.
Anyone who saw the incident, or who has dashcam footage of any suspicious activity before the raid, should call 101 and quote incident number 39 of October 21.
