Bird flu confirmed at Donington and Swineshead poultry zones




Bird flu has been confirmed at two south Lincolnshire poultry units.

Protection and surveillance zones have been placed around the two units in Swineshead and Donington.

Officials from DEFRA state that all the poultry on both units will be humanely culled.

The measures, which include 3km protection zones and 10km surveiliance zones, were put into place on November 1 in Donington and October 31 for Swineshead.
