Bumper year for West Pinchbeck Village Show

Organisers of a well established village show were over the moon with the number of entries.

West Pinchbeck Show, which has been running for about 50 years, had a total of 70 different classes including bakery, crafts, produce and plants.

Up to 38 adults put forward entries into the show, which was also supported by West Pinchbeck St Bartholomew’s Primary School.

One of the organisers Wendy Houghton was delighted with the event’s success.

She said: “We had a really good turn out of people entering and we had a lot of entries. The hall looked nice and full and colourful.

“We had a lot of entries for the fruit and vegetable which was surprising after the summer.”
