Taz Thornton from Cowbit crowned UK's best female business coach

An extreme empowerment specialist, TEDx speaker and best-selling author nicknamed the ‘Pink Haired Powerhouse’ has been crowned the UK’s best female business coach.

Taz Thornton from Cowbit won the Best Coach award in the prestigious #BestBusinessWomenAwards, held in Hertfordshire.

She scooped the accolade after impressing the judging panel who had this to say about her: “This coach is an incredible person who turned her life around and now helps people to become the best they can be.

“She has written books, spoken at TEDx and been on ITV to spread her word and increase 'the tribe'.

“A truly impressive business woman who has supported many clients to success.”

Taz attended a glittering ceremony full of top business women and was totally shocked but delighted by her win, secured in a large part by numerous testimonials from her clients.

“I couldn’t believe it when my name was read out,” confessed Taz. “I really think I was in shock when I made my way to the stage.

“To get to the final alongside such amazing women was a big achievement for me, so to win the Best Coach award was just awesome.

“I’m so grateful to all my clients for their support and I look forward to helping even more people to #UnleashYourAwesome in the future."

Taz’s top award win comes just a few weeks after her appearance on ITV when she starred alongside reality TV star Tanya Bardsley from The Real Housewives Of Cheshire.

Taz features in episode 2 of Tanya’s Extreme Therapies showing on ITV.com, guiding Tanya and her flamboyant PA Adam Hemadou through a meditative search for their power animals, bare throat arrow breaking and a firewalk.

Taz spent a day filming with Tanya and Adam at The Firewalking Academy in Thorney and appears in the show coaching the duo through a range of activities designed to coax them out of their comfort zones.

So, what’s next for the award-winning coach?

Taz has two more books under way, two speaking gigs in Italy later this year and another in Miami in 2019.

What made the award even more special was that the ceremony was held on her late dad’s birthday. He would have been 86.

Taz says: “We raised a glass to my dad that night, certainly. He’s been gone for a long time now but I’m pretty sure he had a hand in things that night. It was lovely to be able to celebrate in his memory.”
