Park Road in Spalding will be closed for more than two weeks
A busy town road will be closed for more than two weeks to enable ‘important upgrades’ to be carried out.
The work along Park Road in Spalding started yesterday (Monday) and is due to finish on June 3 at 5pm.
Engineers from National Grid will be installing new underground electricity cables.
Residents and motorists have been thanked for their patience and understanding ahead of the closure.
A spokesperson from National Grid said: “Engineers will be working to install new underground electricity cables to reinforce the area’s network.
“Work will affect a 125m stretch of the pavement and the road and will take just over two weeks to complete.
“We understand this may cause frustration for customers and thank them for their patience and understanding while this important upgrade is carried out.”
