Spalding road to be shut for emergency repairs

A major town road will be closed for a week for emergency repairs.

West Marsh Road in Spalding is going to be shut from Monday, June 9, until Friday, June 13.

Lincolnshire County Council is going to be undertaking emergency repairs to the bridge following a crash.

A diversion route is in place which will take motorists to Twin Bridges but it is unclear how this will affect lorries bound for the factories based along West Marsh Road.

Traffic jams have been seen around High Bridge due to the temporary traffic lights which have been in place since Monday.
