Pinchbeck road closed for repairs

Engineers are going to close a busy village road for a second time.

Northgate in Pinchbeck will be shut from tomorrow (Thursday, June 26) until June 30 while Cadent return to repair the road surfacing.

Cadent had closed the road, close to The Ship, while it replaced a gas main but is returning to complete the job.

A spokesperson for Cadent said: “These are essential works which will see us return to the same site as a previous job.

“When we finished the works previously, we re-laid the road temporarily, owing to some unforeseen engineering difficulties, and in order to get it back open as soon as possible.

“We are now coming back to relay a permanent solution which will see the project completed. We thank residents and road users for their patience and understanding as we carry out these vital works.”
