Can you survive Jaws and the Gremlins? Find out at Spalding comicon

Have you ever pictured yourself in the movies and been convinced you’d be heroic enough to escape a Jaws attack or survive the Gremlins?

Even if the answer is no, you could still grab yourself some photographic evidence to the contrary.

Two more fantastic props have been added to the upcoming Spalding Comicon, allowing you to be snapped in two of cinema’s most iconic poses.

Visitors will be able to have their photograph taken being eaten alive by Steven Spielberg’s scary shark sensation or be pictured in the cinema watching a movie with the fiendish creatures from the Gremlins franchise.

Pictures cost just £1 on your own phone, or £3 for a print version.

These props are just some of the latest attractions introduced to September’s comiconm, which will have a strong Doctor Who vibe.

Former Doctor Colin Baker and companions Sophie Aldred (Ace) and Nicola Bryant (Peri Brown) will attend the event to meet and chat with punters while props from the show, including a TARDIS, Daleks and Cybermen will also be there.

Ross Mullan who has played The Silence and The Teller on the BBC show will also appear.

Other guests attending will be Hattie Hayridge, best known for playing ship computer Holly in BBC sci-fi sitcome Red Dwarf.

Also booked to appear will be Tony McCarthy, whose credits include Deadpool & Wolverine and Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, 7’1” Ross Sambridge - who has played a wookie and Supreme Leader Snoke in Star Wars movies - plus Craig David Dowsett and Maria Taylor, both Razzie award winners for their appearances in cult horror movie Winnie the Pooh: Bloood and Honey.

Other attractions include live wrestling and retro gaming plus trade stalls and meet and greets.
