South Holland family organise ball at Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa to remember Holly and Emma Bramley

A special charity ball is being held in memory of two sisters who died in tragic circumstances.

Sarah-Jayne Lindop is arranging the Blue Skies Ball at the Petwood Hall Hotel, in Woodhall Spa, as a tribute to her sisters Holly and Emma Bramley on Saturday, November 22, and raising funds for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

Holly lost her life to domestic abuse at the age of 26 after being stabbed to death by husband Nicholas Metson in Lincoln in 2023 - he was sentenced to life in prison and must serve at least 20 years.

Emma tragically died in a skydiving accident and the ball will ‘honour their lives and help others in their name.’

The #ForHolly campaign was been launched last September by their mum Annette Bramley, working with the county’s police force and Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Specialist Service.

Holly’s family, who live in South Holland, said: “Holly’s life ended at the hands of the abusive man who was supposed to love her.

“In memory of Holly, we are working together to raise awareness of the help and support available for domestic abuse.”

Guests are encouraged to ‘dress to impress’ for a night of dancing and fundraising at the ball, which will be held at the famous hotel.

The event runs from 6pm to 11.45pm.

Tickets cost £70 and can be purchased at www.tickettailor.com/events/blueskiesforholly/1677118?
