Spalding South Holland Centre hosted by Zeph Churchill featuring Keith Farnan and Dan King offers open spots to public at charity comedy night

A chance to perform on stage at a comedy night is being offered at a town’s theatre in the new year.

The South Holland Centre in Spalding is hosting an evening of laughs with the opportunity to star alongside a professional comedian in an open spot.

The night of comedy - with headliners Keith Farnan, Dan King and compere Zeph Churchill – will allow applicants to have the chance to wow the audience with their own comedy act.

Best known for his appearance on BBC One’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, stand-up comedian Keith Farnan is an engaging and sharp-witted performer who personifies Irish charm.

Compere for the night will be Zeph Churchill fresh from her sold out show Is It Me Or Is It Hot In Here?, which she performed at the centre in October.

Three acts have submitted their interest in the evening where they will perform a five to ten minute spot on Friday, January 26 at 8pm.

The event is in support of two charities – Blood Cancer UK and Mencap – chosen by Coun Andrew Woolf, chairman of South Holland District Council.
