'Greenhouse fire' was false alarm

Fire crews from Spalding attended reports of a fire involving a large greenhouse on Main Road, Deeping St Nicholas in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

However, the 1.24am call out was a false alarm caused by a light in the greenhouse and smoke from a nearby chimney being mistaken for a blaze.
