The Pudding Hut in Spalding closes doors for the last time
A dessert shop has made the ‘hard decision’ to permanently close.
The Pudding Hut in Holland Market, Spalding, issued a statement to customers this morning (Tuesday, September 23) on a social media post.
In the statement it said: “Unfortunately we have made the hard decision to close down.
“We’d like to thank all of our staff for their hard work over the years, and all the customers who have supported our small business.
“Thank you and goodbye from Becca’s/Pudding Hut.”
The family-run business, which previously opened as an ice cream shop, had a re-brand earlier in the year following a temporary closure in December.
Owner, Vickie Turner, who took over the business from her sister Rebecca, hoped to improve footfall at the site by hosting crochet classes.
Since announcing the news earlier today, the shop has received lots of supporting messages from customers who are sad to hear the news.
The Pudding Hut has been contacted.
