Temporary stay of execution for XL bully after killing chickens in Quadring
A male XL Bully dog in Quadring has been given a temporary stay of execution after killing chickens in a coup.
Pablo damaged the neighbouring coup and destroyed the birds on February 12.
At Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (June 4), his owner Leoni Wilson, 30, was said to be too upset to enter the courtroom because the Crown Prosecution Service was seeking a destruction order for Pablo.
Solicitor Mike Alexander entered guilty pleas on Wilson’s behalf to charges of being the owner of a dog dangerously out of control and allowing a fighting dog to stray.
Mr Alexander asked for a short adjournment for the case in order for the defendant to demonstrate that Pablo was being kept under control.
The bench agreed and Wilson, of Water Gate, is next due back at the court on June 18.
