Driver taken to hospital following A16 collision at Surfleet

A driver has been taken to hospital following a collision on the A16.

Police were called to the scene this morning following an incident involving two cars close to the roundabout where the road meets the A152 at Surfleet.

The incident caused some delay for southbound traffic.

“We were called to a two-car collision on the A16 at Surfleet, at around 7.50am,” a Lincolnshire Police statement said.

“A driver injured in the incident and has gone to hospital for treatment.”
