South Holland Easter bins reminder

Council chiefs have reminded residents that their bins will be collected on different days as a result of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

Anyone in South Holland who usually has their refuse collected today (Good Friday), will instead have it picked up tomorrow (Saturday).

There will also be a knock-on effect for collections for the rest of the week too.

Collections due on Monday, April 5, will now be picked up on Tuesday, April 6.

Waste from Tuesday, April 6, will now be picked up on Wednesday, April 7.

The trend continues, with rubbish normally collected on Wednesday now set to be picked up on Thursday, April 8.

Areas that typically have their waste collected on Thursdays will have a collection on Friday, April 9 - while normal Friday collections will be pushed back to Saturday, April 10.
