Coffee drinkers in Spalding, Pinchbeck and Bourne struggle to get their festive fix

Coffee lovers looking to get their fix of a favourite festive drink have been left feeling disappointed – after outlets in our area failed to provide a popular seasonal drink.

With the countdown to Christmas well and truly on, many of us enjoy a festive beverage to celebrate the season, however, some Starbucks customers in Spalding, Bourne and Pinchbeck are having to go without their yuletide treat.

The Eggnog Latte, is a popular option for lots of people during the Christmas period and features as part of Starbucks festive menu – however, coffee lovers in our area have not been able to purchase it since the end of November.

One customer, who wished to be remain anonymous, visited the Long Sutton branch after their local chain had been out of the seasonal drink for a couple of weeks.

After checking the mobile app for the nearest availability, the customer was left feeling disappointed to find the Long Sutton branch also didn't have any Eggnog Lattes.

Another customer, who states the festive latte is the highlight of their Christmas, added: “I've been hoping to have an Eggnog Latte for the last couple of weeks but they don't seem to have had it in Pinchbeck, in particular, for ages.

"I'll admit I'm an addict - it's a highlight of my Christmas. There are lots of other festive drinks on the menu, but they don't cut the mustard in the same way."

A spokesperson for Starbucks said: “I want to confirm that there are no issues with national supply or distribution.

“These are limited time seasonal beverages available while stocks last so we would remind customers to be quick to grab an Eggnog Latte whilst they still can in-store or on Starbucks Delivers via Deliveroo, Just Eat or Uber Eats so they don’t miss out.”
