National Grid helicopter has been surveying West Pinchbeck and Gosberton Risegate




A helicopter has been spotted surveying the electricity network over parts of the district.

The National Grid Electricity Distribution yellow helicopter has been seen over West Pinchbeck and Gosberton Risegate in recent days.

It has a fleet of five helicopters, based at Bristol Airport, which are used to inspect, maintain and repair networks.

A National Grid Electricity Distribution spokesperson said: “One of our helicopters has been undertaking routine visual patrols of electricity lines in the area. These essential aerial patrols ensure that we can continue to keep the network healthy and reliable for customers.”
