Springfields Outlet Shopping and Leisure in Spalding, welcomes new menswear brand with ribbon cutting ceremony

A new menswear outlet has opened today - and will save one devoted customer a trip to York.

Springfields Outlet Shopping and Leisure in Spalding, welcomed well-known clothing brand, Ben Sherman, to the site with a ribbon cutting ceremony earlier today (Thursday).

The store, which is located opposite Marks and Spencer, offers a wide selection of clothing, footwear and accessories . It is the brand’s ninth UK outlet.

Aaron Herridge, who is the area manager for Ben Sherman, said: “I’m buzzing, I’m really excited. We have a good selection of autumn and winter products and we are opening the store with a nice selection for customers.

“I’m most looking forward to seeing customers reaction and it is a real positive and big step for Ben Sherman as a brand.”

Paul Knox, a dedicated customer, said: “I think it looks really nice and it’s something I wanted to see come to Springfields. I normally travel to York as it’s the closest one for me, so I won’t have to travel as far now, and I do get a bit of everything from the brand.”

Retail Marketing Manager, Adam Whittaker, said: “Ben Sherman is an important step for Springfields and it means all of the shop spaces are full.

“The shop has brought employment opportunities and it is Ben Shermans 61st birthday today as well. We have an announcement for later this year which customers have asked for and are sure to be delighted.”

From today (Thursday, October 3) until Sunday 6, customers can shop the brand’s signature styles with the Ben Sherman Birthday 20% offer off outlet prices, a £10 gift voucher to the first ten customers who spend £50 or more and an extra 10% off to VIP members.

There are also student and Blue Light discounts on offer.
