Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue cut out casualty at road traffic collision on Bridge Road in Sutton Bridge

Firefighters cut free a casualty from a vehicle in the second crash to happen on the same stretch of road in one day.

Long Sutton and Holbeach fire crews were called to the collision in Bridge Road at 10pm last night (February 7).

Officers used hydraulic cutting gear to free the person.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 9:59pm about a three car collision at Bridge Road, Sutton Bridge.

“There were no serious injuries.

“The road was closed to allow for recovery of the cars and reopened soon after midnight.”

Earlier that day, emergency services were called to another collision involving a white Land Rover, a blue Toyota Yaris and a Peugeot van on Bridge Road between Sutton Bridge and Little Sutton.
