Police investigating assault in Gosberton have made four arrests




Police investigating a serious assault have made four arrests.

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries following an incident outside a property in High Street, Gosberton, during the early hours of Monday (June 10).

Police said on Monday that the injuries were not thought to be life changing or life altering but had placed a scene guard outside the property.

Officers have now confirmed that four arrests have been made and are appealing for information.

A 24-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on 11 June and have been released on police bail while investigations continue.

A 42-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on 12 June and remain in police custody

A force spokesman said: “We are continuing our investigation into a serious assault in High Street in Gosberton, Spalding on 10 June.

“As part of our enquiries, we have made four arrests, and we are still asking for your help. This incident happened in a busy residential area, and while it was in the early hours of the morning, we think there will be people who have seen or hear something, or have information which could help.

“If you witnessed any activity during the early hours of this morning, or if you have seen any suspicious vehicles in the area, please get in touch.

“Alternatively, if you have any other information that you have yet to share with us, please contact force.control@lincs.police.uk or call 101 and quote incident 23 of 10 June.”
