From science experiments to making music… youngsters get glimpse of secondary school life at University Academy Holbeach
Youngsters were granted a taste at secondary school life at a recent open day.
University Academy Holbeach opened its doors to families and prospective pupils to give a glimpse of what to expect and make that transition from primary school that bit easier.
Parents were able to tour the school during the day to watch pupils learn in their normal environment – an opportunity to enjoy the experience in a truly authentic way.
In the evening, pupils and staff welcomed families again to enjoy activities taking place across an impressive array of subject areas – including science experiments in the state-of-the-art science facility, trying out instruments in music, getting creative in food technology and challenges for all in physical education.
Principal Sheila Paige stated that it was nice to welcome future pupils to the school and thanked the pupils for taking part in presentations.
Parents can find further information regarding the opportunities offered at the Academy through its website.
