The Furniture Warehouse will be opening in former Beales store in Spalding on March 2 after relocating from Market Deeping
A furniture store will be taking over a prominent empty town centre shop in the coming weeks.
The Furniture Warehouse will be creating up to five new jobs when it opens up in the former Beales site in Bridge Street, Spalding, on Saturday March 2.
LincsOnline reported yesterday that work is taking place in the store, which has been closed since March, 2020, when Beales ceased trading.
The Furniture Warehouse currently has a site in Market Deeping which will be relocating into the larger Spalding store. It’s last trading day is Tuesday, March 12.
Sales director Alex Raspin said: “We are looking forward to opening the new store and it would be great if people came to support us.

“The way our business works is that we take frequent deliveries so the shop floor is changing.
“We have built up a good relationship with people in Deeping as a few do come in for a cup of tea and a chat.
“I am gutted to be leaving Deeping as it is my favourite store. I really like the location and the way it is laid out. I am disappointed to be leaving but it is a big opportunity for us.”
