Act II Theatre Company performing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at South Holland Centre Spalding

Golden tickets are on sale for a musical version of a popular children’s story.

Act II Theatre Company is performing Roald Dahl’s timeless classic Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at the South Holland Centre in Spalding.

The musical theatre group will bring to life the world of Willy Wonka and familiar characters Charlie Bucket, Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde and Mike Teavee.

Director Karl Gernert said: “This is the most delicious musical to whet your appetite.

“This timeless and joyous tale is brought to Spalding in this hit musical form for the very fist time.

“It is lively, daft and magical.”

The show runs from October 16-19 at 7.30pm with a relaxed performance on Saturday, October 19 at 2.30pm.
