Greggs opening within Long Sutton SPAR

The SPAR shop in Long Sutton will re-open on Monday after refurbishment – and it will host a Greggs.

The London Road store closed for a re-fit on November 15 and is undergoing several changes, the opening of the bakery chain being the biggest.

The shop, which is open 7am-11pm seven days a week, will also have a Tango Ice Blast, F’real and i-squeeze machines and stock County Bridge meats.

A relaunch event on December 3 includes goody bags filled with SPAR-branded treats, golden tickets (first 200 customers to spend £10 in store receive a ticket with the biggest prize being a £50 SPAR voucher) and a colouring competition (three SPAR hampers to be won)

Area manager Mark Paddison said: "We are always looking at ways we can improve stores and the offer value to our customers. We are really excited to be adding a Greggs to our store along with several other food-to-go options such as Tango Ice Blast, F'real milk shakes, I-squeeze Juice bar, plus an extended range of County Bridge Fresh meat.

"We are also undergoing a full store refit aimed to enhance the shopping experience and offer breadth of range, a huge step ahead from our previous offering. We look forward to welcoming our customers back."
