Spalding gridlocked again after Anglian Water close Commercial Road

Large parts of Spalding town centre have been brought to a standstill during rush hour thanks to the closure of a main route - again!

Commercial Road has once again been shut by Anglian Water for repairs - for the second time in just a few weeks.

Road closed signs remain in place at the junction of Commercial Road with Twin Bridges - which has once again created havoc.

The closure of Commercial Road has impacted on the flow of traffic across town with massive delays seen in Haverfield Road and London Road.

One motorist has reported that a normal 10 minute journey took more than half-hour.

According to One Network, Commercial Road is likely to be closed until Friday, October 4.
