Pode Hole five-year-old Lola Brisbane’s amazing 999 call released by East Midlands Ambulance Service

Ambulance chiefs have released the full audio of the amazing 999 call made by five-year-old Lola Brisbane as she came to her mum’s rescue.

Lola was handed a bravery award at St Bartholomew’s Primary School in West Pinchbeck today (Monday) in recognition of her quick-thinking actions in dialling for help when mum Kirsty Brisbane had had a seizure.

The Pode Hole youngster used her mum’s Apple Watch to make the call — and the full audio demonstrates how she kept a cool head throughout what could have been a distressing situation.

The call was answered by Emergency Medical Advisor Tim Higham-Jones, who nominated her for the East Midlands Ambulance Service Children’s Bravery Award.

Lola’s aunt Emma and paramedics were able to get to the scene to help Kirsty, who has epilepsy.
