Disposable barbecue caused fire

Firefighters from Spalding attended a blaze at a property in the town on Saturday afternoon.

There was severe fire damage to approximately eight metres of hedging and scrubland after the blaze in Albion Street, at 4.33pm.

The fire, caused by embers from a disposable barbecue, was extinguished using one hose reel and one thermal imaging camera.
